The Secret of the K-Metal is an unpublished 1940 Superman story written by Jerry Siegel and originally illustrated by the Joe Shuster Studio. The script and outline were rediscovered in 1988. A long-running fan restoration effort, beginning in the early 2000s, produced the first complete online presentation of the story through Superman Through the Ages and related project sites.
